Capacity assessments are not psychotherapy or treatment services and do not create a therapeutic relationship.

I provide professional capacity assessment services that are evaluative in nature and conducted independently, with care, clarity, and respect for the individual being assessed.
A capacity assessment evaluates an individual's ability to understand and appreciate information relevant to making specific decisions. The purpose is to determine capacity at a specific point in time based on legislated criteria and professional standards.

What the assessment process involves
Each assessment is structured, thorough, and respectful, with clear communication at every step.
Written reports are typically available within two (2) weeks of the assessment, unless an expedited timeline has been requested and mutually agreed upon, or where unforeseen circumstances result in reasonable delays.
